Goal #1: Try 10 New Restaurants (1, 2, 3/10)

1/10 - El Rodeo Grill

This goal is a little trickier to accomplish than you might think, considering there are only about 10 restaurants total in Heber. Okay, that's an exaggeration, kind of, but there really are only a couple in Heber we haven't been to, and for a reason. El Rodeo Grill, as you might suspect, is a lovely Mexican restaurant with tasty Mexican food and the Mexican soccer channel playing all evening.  It's only been around for 6 months- it is one in a long line of restaurants occupying the same building over the last few years that we've lived here, so there's a good chance we'll see a new restaurant there in a few months. Overall, a delightful experience with my Joey.

Interesting side note: When we first got to the restaurant we saw some friends from the neighborhood finishing their dinner. By the time the hostess had seated us and I went over to say hello they had already left. I'll never let the chance to say hello slip away again because this happened to them just 2 hours later.....

2/10 - The Aerie Restaurant at Snowbird

Happy Anniversary to us! I joined Joey at the tail end of his medical conference up at Snowbird, which just happened to fall on our anniversary (#6!). Special thanks to Grandma and Grandpa for taking the girls. We decided to splurge a little on dinner and ate at The Aerie, located on the 10th floor of the Cliff Lodge at the resort. It was awfully fancy, pretty tasty and dang expensive.

3/10 -  Heber City Cafe

There isn't much to say about this one. I had high hopes for the cafe but there was not a single exciting thing about it. Plus they didn't even bring us real ketchup for our fries, so that was a deal breaker.

  1. Is the Snake Creek Grill still around in Heber? We are there the night we got engaged. Ah, Heber memories. :) Good job, you, on working on your goals!

    1. I must have known that about you and then forgotten because Joey and I also went there the night WE got engaged. Good choice. Yes, it's still there. And thank you.
