1/30 - Beef and Broccoli


Meet Fonzy.


Meet frozen Fonzy.

Meet chopped Fonzy chops.

Meet chopped Fonzy chops cooked in the slow cooker with broccoli and Asian flavors. Very tasty!

2/30 - Beef stock

I've never made a stock before and I had no intentions of making beef stock any time soon, but I had so much leftover Fonzy pieces that I didn't want to be wasteful.
Here are the rest of Fonzy's chops after stewing in water with carrots and seasoning for 24 hours.
And here is the broth.


I had to use some of my milk bags.
I'll have to try it this winter to see if it's any good....

3/30 - Spaghetti Squash Hash Browns

I always think spaghetti squash has potential but I have yet to find a recipe that I've loved. This wasn't it. I ended up adding egg to help the squash-noodle choppings stick together, so that helped. And the girls ate it dipped in ketchup, so that helped. I think I've given up on spaghetti squash.
